Social worker M. M.  Kunjaamu Mastikund sponsored 5 mathrubhoomi newspapers  to school.Mathrubhoomi Kasaragod branch officials were present during the function and felicitated the ceremony.Shafi,school office staff welcomed the guests and delivered introductory speech.

Hindi Day

National Hindi day was celebrated at school on 14/09/2017. Teacher explained ed the importance of the day and children sung Hindi group song during assembly. 

Birth day celebration

V th standard students Kaushik and prajwal  celebrated their birth day by donating books to school library during assembly.

Onam free rice

Jaya/Kuruva brand boiled rice distributed to school  children. Each student got 5Kg rice supplied by Kerala government through maveli stores as a part of Noon Meal Programme. 

Onam Celebration

Onam festival celebrated on 31/08/2017. Various competition were held at school. Pookalam, Lemon spoon, sundarikk pott thodal, manjadikuru perukkal organised for LP section.For UP and HS section Pookalam competition was held. Children wore costume of Maveli and Vamanan, visited BRC, PWD office, retired registrar Mohammad Ali's office, PWD office, Panchayath office and wished Happy onam  Eid wishes

Gardening 

To bring awareness about the importance of planting among students a continues gardening activities were taken by LP section  teachers. Kittchen gardening, gardening, planting Bamboo, mahagani, hibiscus. Croutons, medicinal plants were under taken as a part of it.

Field Trip

First Standard Kannada students. 

Students of first  standard Kannada visited chandrahasa Nambiyar s  field. Paddy cultivation was in progress. Children were able to here the naati song of paddy field workers. children got an opportunity to see different ground  water sources like SURANGA, pond, well, borewell, stream and different types of farming. Chandra Shekhar master  escorted the students. Chandrahasa Nambiyar sir provided transportation facility,  guidance  and refreshment for the programme 

Balasabha 2017 -18

Inauguration of Balasabha 2017 -18 held at Gandhi Hall today. Newly elected president and secretary felicitated the ceremony. Children presented various activities. 

Types of roots

Fourth standard. ....Two types of root system

Fourth standard kannada students analysing plants parts. Observing different types of root system, types of venation and finding relationship between venation and root system are the objective of the study. Students collected plants from school surroundings.
